The state of Oaxaca continues to consolidate and strengthen itself as a tourist power thanks to its successful participation in the 49th Tianguis Turístico de México 2025, a binational event for the first time. The state Tourism Secretariat projects an increase in the flow of national and international visitors as a result of its prominent presence at this important event for America.

The promoted destinations include Huatulco, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca City, Zipolite, and the six Magical Towns: Capulálpam de Méndez, Huautla de Jiménez, San Pedro and San Pablo Teposcolula, San Pablo Villa de Mitla, Mazunte, and Santa Catarina Juquila, as well as the 10 state tourist routes. During the event, Oaxaca stood out in "Window to Mexico" and the Mexico Festival, showcasing local crafts and tourist destinations internationally.

At the Tianguis Turístico de México 2025, the state presented a pavilion with 44 business spaces, exhibitions highlighting the beauty of its destinations and gastronomy, as well as a craft showcase and demonstrations of Juxtlahuaca Masks. During the event, collaboration agreements were signed with airlines to promote events such as Guelaguetza 2025, a new international flight was secured, and UNESCO support was established for the National Community Tourism Program. Meetings were held with airlines for future route and frequency expansions, and the state's tourist offerings were presented at the event "Unmissable Experiences of Oaxaca."

In recognition of its efforts, Oaxaca and its tourist destinations were awarded by specialized media, highlighting the work of master artisan José García Antonio and Oaxaca City, as well as Playa Carrizalillo in awards such as The Best of Mexico 2025 from México Desconocido and The Best of the Best 2025 from Tripadvisor.
